Intro to Arduino

from 20.00

Skills Required: Being Alive

Synopsis: Learn what an Arduino is and how to make a simple project. Microprocessors are tiny computers used in modern electronic devices like cellphones, refrigerators, and toys. Arduino is not a microprocessor itself, but an easy to use hardware and software system surrounding the microprocessor. Like an automatic transmission in a car, Arduino handles much of the underlying complexity so the user can simply drive.

Who: This class is meant for people who have little to no experience with Arduino. However microprocessors inherently involve a varying degree of electronics and math. If you can understand the difference between a capacitor and resistor, you’ll be fine:

Cost: $20 for members, $30 for non-members includes Arduino and some additional components.
